This is a window that Rob the builder made in one of his rooms of his house, which is just round the corner from Bamboo house. Rob’s house is a gorgeous mix of traditional Japanese and eclectic sensibility. On a practical note, Rob has been a treasure trove of advice, inspiration, contacts and second hand items of use such as a fridge, cupboards, heaters and the like. He was also responsible for making the windows and doors to the back of Bamboo house and also making the turn to the bottom of the stairwell.
