So yesterday and today I’ve been stripping the paper off from the sliding doors (called fusuma) as you can see in this picture, so that I can replace the old paper with new- a lovely japanese paper called Gin Washi with lots of silvery threads in it. I stretched the paper on tonight and am looking forwards to seeing the effect tomorrow when its dry.
